Healthcare Environmental Awareness and Resource Reduction Team (HEARRT)

Healthcare Environmental Awareness and Resource Reduction Team (HEARRT) is a networking group that addresses environmental issues within Minnesota's healthcare industry. Healthcare facilities around Minnesota make up roughly three-fourths of the participants; the remainder is county hazardous waste staff, state agencies, and vendors. Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and MnTAP staff members coordinate quarterly meetings.
