Energy Efficiency Funding Opportunity
Applications are being accepted by the Department of Energy for cost-shared projects that will deploy sustainable energy infrastructure projects and energy efficient industrial technologies. Specifically, seeking projects to deploy efficient technologies in the following four areas of interest:
- Combined Heat and Power
- District Energy Systems
- Industrial Waste Energy Recovery
- Efficient Industrial Equipment

New Phosphorus Reduction Fact Sheet Focuses on Universities & Colleges
Reducing phosphorus on university & college campuses is a new fact sheet which provides a number of ways to assess and reduce phosphorus use in various campus departments.
MEI Emission Reduction Project
In 2008, the Minnesota Environmental Initiative (MEI) provided outreach to Twin Cities auto body shops in an effort to reduce emissions of ozone precursors and air toxics produced by this industry.
