Summer/Fall Internship Positions are Filled
Thank you for your interest in the MnTAP intern program. The Minnesota Technical Assistance Program (MnTAP) has filled the following internship positions (nine for Summer 2013 and one for Fall 2013). The project descriptions for each of the ten projects are listed below and attached in pdf format:
- Reduce water and energy use at a food processing facility - CSM Bakery Products, Eagan, MN
- Research energy efficiency opportunities in a high precision casting facility - Consolidated Precision Products, Bloomington, MN
- Research multiple water conservation and recycling opportunities in a metal fabricating facility - Anoka, MN
- Reduce water use and improve efficiencies at a food processing facility - Gedney Foods Company, Chaska, MN
- Research well water reduction and reuse opportunities in a food processing facility - Michael Foods, Chaska, MN
- Identify material use and energy reduction opportunities for a manufacturing facility - St. Croix Forge, Forest Lake, MN
- Reduce electric energy consumption and perform a sample steam trap assessment at a hospital campus - St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth, MN
- Lean manufacturing in a growing industrial equipment manufacturer - Schwing America, White Bear Lake, MN
- Reduce solid waste and improve water efficiency at an equipment manufacturing facility - Minneapolis, MN
- Continuous improvement in a growing food products plant (FALL 2013) - Burnsville, MN
