American Foundry Society (AFS) Helps members manage production operations, market their products and services, and manage their employees. AFS promotes the interests of the foundry industry before the legislative and executive branches of the federal government. It offers technical documents and other information.

American Metalcasting Consortium (AMC) AMC is designed to support readiness of legacy weapon systems through procurement solutions, casting quality, and manufacturing efficiencies

American Society of Materials (ASM) International provides an information-sharing network for those who work with metals, composites, ceramics, polymers and electronic materials. 

  • Minnesota Chapter provides opportunities to network, attend tours and events, and hear technical presentations on topics relevant to metal casters.

Cast Metals Institute Offers training opportunities at locations throughout the U.S. and online.

North American Die Casting Association promotes growth and enhancing its members’ ability to compete domestically in the global marketplace. The Web site provides an overview of the technology and its varied applications. The NADCA Web site has an archive of on-line references and documents for members as well as publications and a technical forum that provides advice and answers from industry participants.
