Anna Arkin is a Graduate Research Assistant with MnTAP. Anna previously held the role of Solid Waste Specialist, providing technical assistance in the area of waste reduction and recycling and managing the Minnesota Materials Exchange, the state's online business reuse network. Her projects included serving as interim coordinator for ReUSE Minnesota, a new state trade association for the reuse, rental, and repair sectors, and developing and delivering trainings and on-site assessments to assist with solid waste reduction and diversion in rural Minnesota communities.
Anna previously served with Minnesota GreenCorps as a Waste Prevention and Recycling Corps Member at the University of Minnesota Recycling Program, leading interdepartmental projects in organics recycling and source reduction as well as providing recycling outreach and education to the campus community.
